Praised Be Jesus Christ!
Dear Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish Family and Friends,
Happy Candlemas tomorrow! As a reminder, we will have an English High Mass at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, February 2nd. The weather doesn't look great but we have some ideas of how to celebrate well even if we can't start outside. If you have any candles that need to be blessed, you are welcome to bring them. Everyone who comes will receive a blessed candle.
On
Friday, February 3rd, for the Feast of St. Blaise, we will have the
Blessing of Throats after the 8:00 a.m. Mass and the 6:30 p.m. Mass. We will also have the
Blessing of Bread, Wine, Water, and Fruit for the relief of throat ailments if you would like to bring those items to be blessed. That is also a First Friday, so Adoration will begin at the conclusion of those blessings.
Saturday, February 4th is a
First Saturday and we will have our usual
Biretta Brunch social after the 8 a.m. Latin High Mass. To learn more about the First Saturday devotion, check out
this site. God bless you!
In Christ,
