Catechist Ministry
Series Held at St. Luke Parish Center
We have a special opportunity for current catechists, anyone considering being a catechist, or anyone interested in learning how to best teach children about our faith!
The Diocese will be presenting a four-part series on the Introduction to the Ministry of a Catechist which will cover the catechist's role and vocation, lesson plans, learning styles, spiritual development, classroom management, and so much more.
The last part will include a Lenten Retreat called The Spirituality of the Catechist.
The parish will cover the cost of registration for the series and the Lenten Retreat.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

This ministry is open to any person interested in knitting or crocheting prayer shawls, lap robes or afghans for the sick and suffering. The ministry also makes hats and mittens for the Giving Tree at Christmas. We would love to have new members since there are many requests for the hand-made items. Yarn is available at the Parish Center.

Adult Confirmation
The 2023 Adult Confirmation Celebration will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 3pm at the Cathedral of St. Paul. This ceremony is for baptized, already catechized Roman Catholic adults—18 years old and older—who have not previously been confirmed. Registration deadline for confirmation is Feb. 3.
An adult confirmation retreat is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 pm at Our Lady of Hope Parish, North Grafton. This is an optional retreat which invites the candidates to reflect prayerfully on their experience as people of faith and the meaning of the sacrament of confirmation. The Divine Mercy Chaplet
Come join us every Tuesday afternoon at 3:00pm in the Church to recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We have pamphlet instructions available in the vestibule and rosary beads for you to use.
