Lenten Parish Mission
Bishop Brendan Cahill from the Diocese of Victoria will be leading our Lenten Parish Mission. He will explore the three pillars of Lent and how they can transform our experience of this holy season as we prepare for Easter. Click on the image or the button to see the full schedule!
Palm Burning
The Boy Scouts will burn palms in preparation for Ash Wednesday on Sunday, February 19th at 3:00PM at the southwest corner of the baseball field on our campus. You are welcome to come join us!
We ask for your blessed palms from last Palm Sunday. We only need the palms: please no bags, rubber bands, metal pins, etc. There will be a basket in the narthex to collect the palms and if the construction in the narthex prevents us from placing a basket, we’ll find a place to put that basket near the narthex.
Stitches of Peace
Our Stitches of Peace monthly sewing meeting will be held on February 11th from 9:30AM-1:00PM in the Annex. All are welcome to join us and sewing experience is not required. Come make new friends!
Altar Society Bake Sale
On February 11th-12th, after the Saturday 5:30PM Mass & the Sunday morning Masses in the PLC, there will be an Altar Society Bake Sale! Write this special date down and stop by to say hello and get a treat. If you'd like to contribute or donate baked goods, we welcome those as early as 3:45PM on Saturday, February 11th in the PLC. The funds go to the maintenance & purchasing of liturgical items when needed: altar linens, candles, & vestments.
Catholic Daughters Meeting
Our next meeting is on February 14th at 7:00PM in the Annex Room. We start gathering as early as 6:30PM.We welcome you to our meeting and if you are interested in joining, please contact Debbie at dwratten@gmail.com.
Mom's Circle Save the Date
Mom's Circle will be leading a family-friendly Stations of the Cross in the parish plaza on Friday, March 3rd, March 17th, and March 31st at 5:30PM. Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer and the passing on of this powerful Lenten tradition to your children.
