Faith Formation continues this Sunday, February 5th, with our once-a-month celebration, Deep Root Sunday. We will meet in Tobin Hall after the 9:00 Mass to celebrate the richness of our Catholic faith with our Saint James family! All Saint James School and Parish families are invited!
Parents, guardians, and/or extended family members, please accompany your preschool through High School aged children for this family-based format. We will begin with a family-time meal and guided table discussion. Then we'll dig deep into God's loving plan for our lives with Bible study, games, lessons, and prayers that will focus on our Catholic tenets, feast days, and the current liturgical season.
The family is the community where Christian faith practices are nurtured and take root so that they can grow and branch out to every area of your life! Come learn and grow as a family! This Sunday we will talk about putting on the "full armor of God." We'll be playing the minute-to-win-it games that we played during Catholic Schools Week!
Deep Root Sunday, is a breakfast potluck! On February 5th, please bring the following dish to share:
Last name beginning with A-J: Breakfast Casserole
Last name beginning with K-Z: Fruit Salad
(We have pastries left over from CSW!)
Drinks and tableware will be provided.
Our Mission is to Glorify God through Word, Worship, and Service!
