Men's Cookout: Spiritual Fatherhood with Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers

Saint Francis de Sales welcomes Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers to speak at our area Men's Cookout. Bible Catholic Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers will discuss how the Christian family, under the spiritual leadership of husbands and fathers both in the home and in the parish, is a communion of persons in the image and likeness of the Trinity, and a sacred sign and living sacrament of Christ’s love for his Church.
Bring your sons, fathers, grandfathers, uncles and friends and enjoy a cookout prepared by the Knights of Columbus. Deacon Burke-Sivers is from Portland,Oregon and a powerful and passionate evangelist, author of "Behold the Man: A Catholic Vision of Male Spirituality." Come be inspired!

Last weekend we have raised $ 81,162.00 towards our BAA goal . Thank you to all those families that have made a gift or pledge. If you have not yet made your gift to this year’s appeal, please consider doing so in the days ahead. We need everyone to respond. Remember our parish goal is $109,813.10. Every dollar over our BAA goal will go towards our Divine Renovation Fund and will be matched by a few generous donors to help us take care of our growing maintenance needs. Together we can bring hope that can change lives and continue to support our parish mission to “Make Disciples and Disciple Makers”.
Blest Week Ever Service Retreat
July 15-19th
Blest Week Ever is a five day urban service retreat that allows students to get involved with local service organizations and groups to help those in need in Licking County. Possible work sites include Churches, Schools, Summer Camp programs, Food pantries, and more. Students will serve the community during the day and will return to Saints Peter and Paul retreat center fellowship.
Graduating Seniors and Families, due to conflict the Senior send-off has been moved to Sunday, June 3rd at the 5 pm Mass. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating this milestone with you and your family!

Vacation Bible School Enrollment is now OPEN!
This year’s Vacation Bible School theme is SHIPWRECKED – Rescued by Jesus! It’s a super fun week-long camp where faith-filled activities abound!

Cost: $45 for Early Birds registering before June 10; $25 for each additional child.

Director of Cemeteries Position Announcement
We are looking to fill the position of Director of Cemeteries. This is someone who will work closely with families who are making arrangements for the burial of their loved ones and our two groundskeepers. This position will require 15 to 20 hrs per week with some travel to our Mt. Calvary and St. Joseph cemeteries. Proficient knowledge of computers and Excel spreadsheets is required. Prior experience with cemetery organization and burial plots is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for a faith filled person who wants to help people in need, possess organizational skills, and is good at documentation. This is a paid position.
