Good Morning Children, Youth, & Family Ministry Contacts,
I have some bittersweet news to share with you this morning.
I was offered and have accepted a job with the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, a newly created position called the Special Events Coordinator. Sadly this means I will be leaving my role on staff here at Pax Christi effective February 22nd.
Serving in various roles the last twelve years at Pax has been a great joy and blessing. There are so many young people and families that I have had the privilege of working for and with. You all took a young newly married kid from North Minneapolis and, with lots of patience and, I'm sure, a countless number of prayers, helped me grow and mature into what I hope has been a faithful conduit of the Father's love for this parish and all her people. I have loved my time with all of you so much that my heart breaks as I write this message.
However, my family and I will continue to be parishioners, and I am looking forward to serving right along with you for years to come. Thank you for making Pax Christi my family's spiritual home, for all of your support, your friendship, and your many prayers over all these years. Keep all of that coming if you would! I will continue to pray for all of you.
I wish I could tell all of you this news individually and thank you in person. If you would like to reach out please and/or have any questions feel free.
Today consider myself blessed beyond measure. I appreciate everything you have given me. Remember Jesus Christ is our Lord, the Holy Spirit is leading our parish, and I have confidence that the Father will continue his work of creation in and through us here at Pax Christi as much as we allow him.
Peace,
Zach Rawson
