Physicals will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 7:00 pm (cut-off time is at 7:30 pm). This time slot is solely for Newark Catholic student-athletes. Players need to bring a blank OHSAA Pre-participation form. Click the link below or see the attachment to access the form. Kim Berry (our athletic trainer) will collect the physicals that evening and return them to Scott Harris (athletic director). The physicals will take place at Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) Phillips Heit Center in New Albany,
150 W Main St, New Albany, OH 43054.
This is a free physical.
The other options are to get a physical from Licking Memorial Hospital (when offered and also free) or go to your primary care physician. The link below will take you to the hospital website to register for a physical. If you choose either of these options you will still need to have the OHSAA form with you and it will be you/your son's responsibility to turn it into Scott Harris.

PTA is gearing up for some exciting events for the next school year. We are in need of someone to help chair or co-chair these events:
Box Tops and Giant Eagle Apples: Collect Box Tops and mail out. Promote Box Tops and Giant Eagle Apples.
Penny Wars: This event will take place early 2019. A
penny war is a
fundraising competition where two or more groups collect
coins and
bills in an effort to score points based on the amount and denomination collected. Each group has a bucket for collecting the money; typically, groups collect coins, but dollar bills may also be accepted. The value of any
pennies collected by a group count toward that group's point total, while the value of other coins or dollar bills are subtracted. Hence, in a competition between Group A and Group B, a contributor who wants Group A to win will place pennies into Group A's bucket and
nickels,
dimes,
quarters, or
dollar bills into Group B's bucket. In the end, a winner among groups is declared, earning a small prize.
Paint and Sip Night: This event will take place in early December. The chair of this event will coordinate with Gretchen Bjornson for art supplies and painting ideas. They will also need to get donations for wine.
Mother/Son Event: Looking for a chair or co-chairs to come up with a fun Mother/Son event.
If you are interested in chairing/co-chairing any one of these events, please contact Andrea Gebhart
andierin@hotmail.com. Thank you!
