Lastly, as some of you may have heard, I have accepted a position to teach 1st grade at Mid-Prairie East Elementary in Kalona this next school year. I have struggled to send out this message regarding my change in teaching positions. Also, telling my kiddos on Wednesday morning broke my heart. (I was a mess of tears... to say the least.) Please know that this decision was one that had a LOT of prayer and family focus behind it. I have truly been so blessed to get to know each of your children as second graders this year and have equally enjoyed getting to know and work with each of you as parents. Teaching at St. James has always been a dream of mine ever since I knew teaching was my passion and wanted to go to school for it. What an experience it has been to be a student at St. James and to also change roles and become one of it's teachers. Again, with my family at the for front of my focus in life, the change of teaching positions and schools was the best choice for us at this time in our lives.
Thank you for your continued support of myself and your children this school year! It is crazy to see it come to an end. I am trying my very best to soak up these last few days and moments together as they are so precious to me.
God Bless and Happy Summer Break to you!
