Dear Epiphany Parishioners,
You are invited to join us this week for Ash Wednesday, when we celebrate the Rite of Blessing & Distribution of Ashes to begin our faithful Lenten observance. Ash Wednesday is a penitential day of fasting and abstaining from meat during which the entire Church embarks on a deep spiritual journey into the Mystery of the Lord's Passion, Death & Resurrection for the salvation of those who have faith in the Son of God. Mass will be celebrated this Wednesday 2/22 at 9am, 12pm, 5pm, and 7pm.
The 40 days of Lent is wonderful way to rededicate ourselves to the Mission of Christ in the Church. Consider observing this Lenten season by attending one of our parish events. This Friday begins our weekly recitation of the Stations of the Cross at 7pm and our weekly Fish Fry at 5:30. Meals will be available to order at our drive-thru or preorder via on our parish website. A Lenten Rosary Series focusing on the Sorrowful Mysteries starts Tuesday, Feb 28th. Finally, our parish Penance Service is Thursday, March 23rd. Details for these events and our Holy Week schedule is in the flyer below.
All of these ways, we can share in the peace and solemnity of the beautiful Season of Lent in our church and in our heart. I look forward to celebrating with you the Lenten liturgies of our faith as we listen to His Word and follow the Son as He once rose from the Easter Tomb.
Devotedly yours in Christ,
Fr. Tom Lam
Pastor
