The Mass: When Heaven Touches Earth
"Proclaiming the death, according to the flesh, of the only-begotten Son of God, that is Jesus Christ, confessing his resurrection from the dead, and his ascension into heaven, we offer the unbloody sacrifice in the churches, and so go on to the mystical thanksgivings, and are sanctified, having received his holy flesh and the precious blood of Christ the Savior of us all."
~ the Council of Ephesus, A.D. 431

Confessions and Eucharistic Adoration
Adoration is the worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass. The Eucharistic Host is displayed in a monstrance on the altar so that all can see and pray in the presence of Christ.
Parish Bulletin
"Lent is a recapitulation of salvation history, and the readings for the First Sunday of Lent are themselves a recapitulation. Looking back to the story of the fall of Adam and Eve, and forward to Jesus' remedy, St. Paul's meditation on 'the gracious gift of the one man Jesus Christ and King David’s penitential psalm show us what to hope for, and how to participate in it!"
~ Fr. Fred

Troop 98 Eagle Scout Court of Honor
The family of Henry Felgenhauer and St. Anthony's Scouts BSA Troop 98 are pleased to invite our parish family to the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Henry Felgenhauer.
The Eagle Scout Rank is the highest rank a Scout can earn, and one of the requirements is to plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to the community. For his service project, Henry planned and led the refurbishment of our St. Anthony's Bread: St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, including the building and installation of all new storage shelving.
