St. Monica Parishioners 55+ please join us for our next Senior Connection meeting on Wednesday, March 8 at 11:00 am in the Family Center Room 201. Lunch will be provided, but donations are appreciated! Our speaker will be Rudy Bush, Vice President of The Dallas Morning News and Editorial Page editor. He will share with us how the Editorial Board chooses topics and formulates opinions for the newspaper’s Editorial Page. Reservations are required by Thursday, March 2nd. Please RSVP by emailing seniors@stmonicachurch.org or calling Bob Noyes at 214-351-6925. Seating is limited, so hurry to reserve your spot!
Each month, our St. Monica parish volunteers to provide a dinner service to the 400+ homeless that reside at Austin Street Center in downtown Dallas. During the Lenten season and beyond, if you are looking for a way to perform works of piety and charity, consider helping make sandwiches that will go directly to feed the less fortunate in our community. Lenten Dinner – Don’t worry about cooking fish for Lent on Fridays. The Knights will do it for you. Place your Lenten Dinner order online here kofc5656.square.site. Lenten Dinners and sides will be served every Friday during Lent, in the Family Center 6:30pm-8pm. Proceeds benefit the Knights scholarship fund.
