Hi there, everyone! Hope that you are having a great week & a blessed Lent! Here's our Flocknote for this week.
1) Stations of the Cross: We had a nice crowd this morning for the praying of the Stations of the Cross. It was great to see a number of people praying together. Our next Stations will be next Friday following the 8:30 am daily Mass.
2) Night of Confessions: Next Wednesday, March 8th, every parish in the Diocese will be open for the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 5 pm until 8 pm. During the evening we will also have the Blessed Sacrament exposed for prayer. We also have our regular Saturday Confession time from 3:30-4:30 as well. Come & experience God's loving mercy!
3) RCIA: This past Sunday evening, Brad (now our RCIA elect) & Jenny, his sponsor, traveled to the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist downtown to celebrate the Rite of Election with Bishop Woost. Gathered with us were about 400 other people...those coming into the Church, their sponsors, & RCIA teams from other parishes. It was a joyous celebration.
Please continue to pray for Brad in these final weeks of his preparation.
Have a Blessed Week!
Fr. John
