ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School in Westfield, Indiana, an A-rated and twice-honored National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, is actively seeking an assistant principal for the 2023-2024 academic school year. This position begins June 2023. St. Maria Goretti offers over 500 students in grades Pre-K through 8th an opportunity to grow daily in mind, body and spirit. Brian Dudzinski. Working closely with the principal, the assistant principal’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Live and model the faith of Jesus Christ, the Master Teacher, in words and actions and can articulate the mission of the school to alumni, parents, faculty, staff and the wider community;
Assist in building and reinforcing a strong school culture through faith-based leadership;
Support the Principal in all school operations;
Supervise the school in the Principal’s absence;
Lead our Resource Program; Participate in all Case Conferences;
Support all MTSS Tiered Interventions;
Assist in implementation of School Safety procedures;
Assist in the continuous evaluation of all staff;
Assist in overseeing and leading the implementation of the School Improvement Plan and Professional Development initiatives;
Oversee and support curriculum across all grade levels;
Address school discipline;
Maintain positive parent relations;
Support other duties as assigned.

CAFETERIA MANAGER
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School is seeking a Cafeteria Manager for our K-8 School. This position will lead all food service operations for the school. St. Maria Goretti is an A-rated, twice-honored National Blue Ribbon School located in Westfield, IN serving students grades PreK - 8. This position begins June 2023.
Qualifications
ServSafe Certified
Food Service Experience helpful
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with parents, school administration, and staff
Proficient in Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Excel, Mosaic Lunch Program and MySchoolBucks
Essential Job Duties
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining our school’s high standards of nutrition, food production and service in accordance with USDA recipes and guidelines
Maintain food service records pertaining to the National School Lunch Program
Ensures that procedures are in place for HACCP controls and ServSafe standards
Ensure school adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Maintain a sanitary work and food environment for students and staff
Create monthly menu planning
Conduct nutritional analysis of menus
Generate a weekly food and supply order and maintain proper storage
Uphold all billing, purchasing and other financial operations pertaining to the school cafeteria program
Supervise cafeteria staff and volunteers, including proper training
Operate various types of commercial kitchen equipment

MIDDLE SCHOOL RESOURCE TEACHER
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School (Westfield, IN) is seeking a creative and dynamic Middle School (6-8th) Resource Teacher for the 2023-24 school year.
This position will support the implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) for qualifying students. Duties will include overseeing the ISP, providing appropriate interventions, working collaboratively with the Middle School team, and nurturing positive communication with the parents of Resource Students.
Applicants should possess a valid Indiana teaching license. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Special Education, a passion for working with Middle School students, and a strong desire to foster a positive, faith-filled culture in a classroom dedicated to academic excellence. St. Maria Goretti Catholic School is seeking two Instructional Assistants to support our Primary Grades.
This position will support the homeroom teacher in providing academic support to students in their classrooms. They may support 2-3 different homeroom classrooms. This position is an hourly, part-time position. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to foster a positive, faith-filled culture in a classroom dedicated to academic excellence.
