Register Today for the Connect Retreat
This Weekend | March 10-11
Renew your faith life during Lent and prepare for the celebration of Christ's resurrection at Easter.
Meet new people and find your place in our parish family.
What is the Connect Retreat?
It is an opportunity to connect (or reconnect) with God and be renewed and empowered in the graces we received at baptism and confirmation. It is a weekend encounter with the presence and power of God coming to us in an intimate and life-changing way. It's also a great way to meet and connect with other parishioners.
Who should attend?
The retreat is open to all adults (18+) of our parish, men and women, young and old. Anyone looking to grow in their relationship with God and/or looking for ways they can connect with the parish are encouraged to attend.
What are the details?
The retreat starts on Friday night, 7-9 pm, in the St. Robert Room (All Souls Center). When the evening session ends, participants go home for the night. On Saturday morning, participants return at 9 am; the retreat continues until 6:30 pm. Participants attend the 4:30 pm vigil Mass together. There will be an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and we will provide you with three meals on Saturday: a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cost is only $25 per person.
I've been on Christ Renews and other retreats. Is this really for me?
Yes! The Connect Retreat is unique. In fact, St. Alphonsus is the only parish running this retreat because it was created by our own Associate Director of Adult Formation. We're confident that you will get something from this retreat even if you're a veteran attendee at CRHP and other retreats.
But, I'm not a big retreat person! Is this going to be too advanced for me?
No! Just like our Catholic faith, the Connect Retreat has something to offer for those who are more comfortable in the shallow end of the pool and those who like to dive deep.
