DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
Don’t forget to Spring Forward Sunday. Set your clocks ahead one hour before bed on Saturday night.
STROKE SCAN PLUS
Stroke Scan Plus will host a stroke and vital organ ultrasound screening for the St. Elizabeth community on Saturday March 25. Early morning and afternoon appoint-ments will be available to accommodate most schedules. Do you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol? Do you have a family history of heart disease, stroke, or diabetes? If any of these are true, please do not miss this opportunity for early detection of a serious disease. These screenings are typically NOT performed at annual check ups, nor will insurance companies pay for them unless you are symptomatic. These 7 screenings cost thousands in our hospitals. Stroke Scan will be offering them to our community for $159 for all 7 combined. Insurance is NOT necessary nor are there any deductibles to meet to receive this discount. However, pre- registration IS necessary, and appointments are limited. Please call 866-935-7226 to schedule an appointment today. You will also have this opportunity after Mass in the gathering space March 11 and 12, 2023

OUTREACH
Our charitable outreach team has assembled packs with socks, water, granola bars, toothbrush/toothpaste, hand sanitizer, and bathing wipes. They will be in the gathering space if you’d like to take one to keep in your car to give to any homeless you encounter. Look for more info soon on a partnership with Holy Family on a medical equipment lending service. Interested in helping us build bags? Donate to Charitable Out-reach in Give Central or drop off bag ingredients at the parish office. Sign up for updates through Flocknote at: stegranitecity.flocknote.com/BrokennessMinist

SECONDHAND SOFAS?
As our Teens have started to gather more frequently and purposefully, one idea has been to have a more comfortable space in their “Upper Room” to kick back and have their faith discussions. If you have a used sofa or reading chair you’re looking to replace (ideally not oversized, and not destined for the dump), we’d love to be considered as a potential recipient. We just want to ensure it would be a mutual fit - wouldn’t be too large or cumbersome in our space. We might even be able to rally a moving crew for the right options. If you have a piece of furniture we should consider, and that you’d consider donating, please call Bret in the Parish Office. Thanks!
