Happy and holy 3rd Sunday in Lent. I wish to offer congratulations and joy to each of you who has helped us reach our Diocesan goal for the Annual Diocesan Appeal. Thank you…every dollar pledged and donated, over the Diocesan goal, will now be used to replace and update our church sound system and projectors….Thank you for your continued support.
In our little black book this past Tuesday we have the familiar story of falling asleep. Many of us have dozed off during a movie, when reading, or just sitting with our thoughts in a comfortable chair. But in the Gospel we experience the falling asleep at a very important moment.
We can become sleepy in our Lenten journey as our fervor and attentiveness to God’s invitation may lessen and even disappear...

¡Feliz y santo III Domingo de Cuaresma! Quiero felicitar y agradecer a cada uno de ustedes que nos han ayudado a alcanzar nuestra meta diocesana para la Campaña Diocesana Anual. ¡Gracias! Cada dólar prometido y donado, por encima de la meta diocesana, ahora se usará para reemplazar y actualizar el sistema de sonido y los proyectores de nuestra iglesia... ¡Gracias por su continuo apoyo!
En nuestro librito negro del martes pasado tenemos el relato familiar de cuando los apóstoles se quedaron dormidos. Muchos de nosotros nos hemos quedado dormidos viendo una película, leyendo o simplemente sentados con nuestros pensamientos en una silla cómoda. Pero en el Evangelio experimentamos el adormecerse en un momento muy importante.
Podemos volvernos somnolientos en nuestro camino de Cuaresma ya que nuestro fervor y atención a la invitación de Dios puede disminuir e incluso desaparecer.

March Wedding Anniversary Blessings this Weekend
This second weekend of the month, we will honor all married couples celebrating their wedding anniversary in MARCH at all Masses this weekend!

This Sunday: Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast
The Knights of Columbus will offer their traditional Pancake Breakfast of 3 pancakes, 2 sausages and eggs after the 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM Masses this Sunday, March 12.
The breakfasts will be served in to-go boxes and can be picked up in front of the Community Center.
Donations are gratefully accepted to support the many causes of the Knights of Columbus!

March 19: Catholic Relief Services Special Collection
Next week our parish will take up The Catholic Relief Services Collection. Funds from this collection provide food to the hungry, support displaced refugees, and bring Christ’s love and mercy to vulnerable people here and abroad. Please give generously to the collection and reveal Christ’s love to those most in need.

Join our training program at the School of Gratitude of the Franciscans of Mary, so that in imitation of Saint Francis of Assisi and the Blessed Virgin Mary we advance in the knowledge of our faith and together seek holiness. We meet every Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall. There is a course for adults and a course for children at the same time. The program is in Spanish.
