We know that many of you are curious about next year's faculty, but Blessed Trinity is still working on contracts for our returning teachers. In fairness to all our staff, we're waiting to make an announcement until the entire process of renewing contracts is finalized. As soon as we're able to, we will make sure to pass along an update. Friday, May 12, 2023 we will have school to make up for a snow day on Thursday, February 23. We will let families know if we have any other days to make up.
Students in grades 3-8 came home with field trip permission slips today! Please find them here as well. We are so excited to go to these fun places! 4K-2 will be going to Ripp's Dairy Farm, too - just finalizing details.

Into the Deep Update:
Dear Parishioners and School Families,
This weekend an important announcement was made regarding Into the Deep, our parish, and new priest assignments. In an effort to realign our resources so that we can better accomplish and live out our mission, Bishop Hying approved a plan to group our current 102 parishes in the Diocese of Madison into 30 “pastorates” (which in time will become 30 new parishes).
Bishop Hying has assigned our parish to be in Pastorate 18 in the final approved model, which will take effect on July 1, 2023. Besides Blessed Trinity in Lodi and Dane, the other parishes in Pastorate 18 in the final approved model are St. John the Baptist in Waunakee and St. Mary of the Lake in Westport.
Regarding priest assignments, Bishop Hying has assigned the following priests to serve the parishes of this new pastorate: Leading Pastorate 18 as Parochial Administrator will be Fr. Joseph Baker. Assisting with pastoral work and serving as Parochial Vicars will be Fr. Enan Zelinski and Dcn. Simon Tipps (who will be ordained a priest this spring).

School Safety Note
School safety officials note that spring can be a sensitive time for potential school safety incidents.
Schools always need to be prepared. Here are steps BTCS have taken to prepare our staff and students:
- Reviewed our school safety plan with staff;
- Connected with local law enforcement and/or inviting them for a walk-through of your school;
- Practiced drills for school safety with local law enforcement;
- Reminding students, families and staff about the Speak Up, Speak Out tip line;
- Sharing with parents this handout with tips on how to talk about violence with children.
