REMINDERS:
- Dispensation: Today is St. Patrick's Day, which falls on a Lenten Friday. After consideration of the traditions often related to this festive holiday, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo is granting a dispensation from meat on March 17, 2023 for local and visiting faithful in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Cardinal DiNardo is asking Catholics who are required to abstain from meat on Friday to do an extra act of charity or penance in exchange for eating meat.
- Penance Service: Please join us for our Lenten Communal Penance Service at St. Mary Magdalene in Humble (527 S. Houston Ave.) on Tuesday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m. Please note: Due to the penance service, we will not have Tuesday evening Mass or confessions at St. Martha’s on March 21.
- Fish Fry: Please join the Knights of Columbus this Friday, and every Friday during Lent, for their Annual Lenten Fish Frys! Click HERE for more information.
- Stations of the Cross: Join us for the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent at 7 p.m. in the Church.
- 40 Days for Life: You are invited to join other Christians around the world to pray during 40 Days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. Join us as we stand vigil and peacefully pray in the public right-of-way outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Houston. When we are present in prayer at an abortion site, through the grace and mercy of God, hearts are changed and lives are saved. All are welcome!
