- N95 MASKS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CHURCH ENTRANCE
- MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED, AND BOOSTED
- MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING, ESPECIALLY AT COMMUNION TIME
- WINDOWS AND DOORS WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR CROSS VENTILATION

Have you heard the good news? St. Mary’s Center is celebrating 50 years of serving the community this year! We began providing Sunday Dinners in 1973 as a response to West Oakland Senior residents’ need for meals on Sundays, when neighborhood stores and restaurants were closed.
Will you join us in marking this milestone at our Golden Jubilee Gala in June?

For the past 30 years, St. Mary’s Center has held an annual Gala to celebrate our work and partnerships. Our Gala is our primary event to help fund St. Mary’s Center programs. Annually, it brings together more than 200 of our most loyal supporters from throughout the East Bay area to celebrate the vital work of St. Mary’s Center and to raise funds for our important programming. We look forward to renewing this tradition with our community members once again this June!

J.T. Johnson is a civil rights activist and business consultant. He is a National Board Member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and President and CEO of Coach Consulting, Inc., a business management and strategic business solutions company.
As a Field Organizer in the 1960’s J.T. assisted Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rev. Ralph Abernathy in their efforts as they navigated the explosive climate of the Civil Rights Movement that plagued the nation. After more than 51 years J.T. Johnson has remained committed and dedicated to social change in our society as he continues to carry out thevision of Dr. King.
