Passion & Crucifixion Reflection
Deacon Steve Reed will give a reflection on the Passion and Crucifixion of Jesus on Thursday, March 30, at 7 pm in the parish hall. Deacon Steve is also an Interventional Cardiologist. His presentation will integrate Holy Scripture with the physiological realities of Jesus' suffering and death.
We are in need of volunteers to help clean the church in preparation for Holy Week. Can you help? If so, please join us on Saturday, April 1, at 10 am. We will meet in the Gathering Area.
EUCHARISTIC PILGRIMAGE SITE FOR MARCH: MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD, FORT WAYNE
Most Precious Blood was founded by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood and features a stained-glass window depicting Christ offering the Eucharist during the Road to Emmaus account. It also includes a statue and first-class relic of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, who founded the Missionaries. Present also are a statue and first-class relic of Pope St. Pius X, who declared that children could receive their first Holy Communion at the age of seven. Seventeen banners with scripture passages and quotes from various saints regarding the Eucharist are on display.
