Who is God, and why does he matter?
Does God exist? Who or what is he? Can we prove his existence?Humans have been asking these questions for thousands of years.
The Catholic Church teaches that God is incomprehensible. This means we’ll never fully understand God, or know everything about him, since he is a mystery beyond our comprehension.
However, we can know some things about him with great clarity, such as the fact that he exists and his different attributes.

CHAPTER ONE: THE CALL TO HOLINESS
21. The Father’s plan is Christ, and ourselves in him. In the end, it is Christ who loves in us, for “holiness is nothing other than charity lived to the full”.[24] As a result, “the measure of our holiness stems from the stature that Christ achieves in us, to the extent that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we model our whole life on his”.[25] Every saint is a message which the Holy Spirit takes from the riches of Jesus Christ and gives to his people.
