“Your own heart a sword shall pierce.” Among the most profound ways of entering the mystery of Jesus’ passion is through the eyes of the one who accompanied him with the deepest compassion — his Mother Mary. The stations are accompanied by live music to allow for silent reflection in between the meditations.

The Stations of the Cross will be presented outdoors (weather permitting) on the St. Peter Church grounds on Friday, April 7, 2023, beginning at 12 noon.
The prayer will follow the traditional sequence of the stations of the cross and will include reflection readings at each station. Participants will walk from station to station as a group, and the scheduled portion of the prayer will conclude in the Ursuline Hall courtyard/prayer garden.

The Annual Easter Chalk Drawing will be held on Holy Saturday Afternoon, April 8 at 1:00 pm, weather permitting. All are welcome to participate in decorating the plaza in front of the Church. this event is a great opportunity to showcase artistic skills and spread joy during the Easter season.

There have been quite a few requests for the sweatshirts that were offered for sale before St. Patrick's Day. Another round of orders will be placed if you would like to purchase one. The proceeds from this round will benefit SPICE.

Saint John’s Bible
The Saint John’s Bible is coming to St. Peter!
In 1998, Saint John’s Abbey and University commissioned renowned calligrapher Donald Jackson to produce a hand-written, hand-illuminated Bible. We invite you to explore this work of art that unites an ancient Benedictine tradition with the technology and vision of today, illuminating the Word of God for a new millennium.
The Saint John’s Bible will be on display in the Deutschmann Room in Ursuline Hall on Wednesday, April 12, 9:30am to 11:00am. Join us to witness this magnificent work of art and work of theology to learn more about how it was made and where it will visit next. There’s no cost to attend - bring a friend!

Continue the Easter season celebration with our annual Young Families Egg Hunt on the Second Sunday of Easter Season! We will gather outside in the front of church and Rectory. Bring your toddler(s) or preschooler(s) along with a bag or basket for each child to the area marked near the rectory.
