Dear Regnum Christi members of the Ohio Valley Locality,
We are in the midst of a transition to new leadership in five cities within the Ohio Valley locality.
Several people, who answered the call and have already given unselfishly for a number of years, have been renewed for another term of leadership. They truly reflect the gospel image of servant leadership as described in Matt 20:26, "But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant." It is with special appreciation for their past dedication and their continued service to the members of Regnum Christi that I'd like to recognize these leaders:
- Rich Amiot will continue to serve the Northeast Ohio as RCDA, Regnum Christi director's assistant. Rich has committed three years in this role and has accepted another three-year term.
- Charlie Bradley will continue to serve as men's section director for Greater Cincinnati for another three-year term.
I'd also like to thank the following people who will be relinquishing their leadership roles:
- Janet Ford served as women's section director in Louisville for the past year. We thank Janet for answering the call and accepting these responsibilities with such dedication.
- Deb Levy served as women's section director in Columbus for three years. We thank Deb for her perseverance, organizational skills, and steadfastness in fulfilling the mission.
- Jamie Chmiel served as women's section director in Greater Cincinnati for six years. We thank Jamie for her servant leadership, hidden service and longevity in this role.
- Lisa Richart served as women's section director in Indianapolis for the past eight years. We thank Lisa for her hospitality and care for souls, as well as her willingness to serve over such a long time.
Members of these cities took part in a consultation survey to provide input regarding these leadership changes. Thank you to those who responded to this survey for your answers. Thank you also to everyone for your spirit of faith in welcoming new leaders. After completing the consultation and selection process, our recommendations were approved by the Regnum Christi Territorial Committee.
I am pleased to announce the following new new leadership assignments, which take effect in July. We count on the teams within the sections to collaborate with these leaders in the fulfillment of our mission:
- Greater Cincinnati: Cyndi Davis will be the new women’s section director.
- Columbus: Mary Marron will be the new women’s section director.
- Indianapolis: Renae Schoening will be the new women's section director and Elsa Hoffman has accepted the role in Indianapolis of RCDA, Regnum Christi Director's Assistant.
- Louisville: Julia O'Connor will be the new women’s section director.
Please join me in thanking all these new leaders for being willing to take on these responsibilities, which will aid in spreading Christ's Kingdom. Be assured of my constant prayers for you all and for your families!
I send my blessings for a joyful summer, enjoying God in nature and your loved ones.
In Christ,
Yvonne Nuxoll
