Easter

Hello! Happy Easter Season! I have been remiss in sending flock notes this past month or so but I have not forgotten about any of you! We welcomed four young people to our Catholic faith at Easter Vigil Mass and celebrated them after with a reception. It was an honor to walk with them for this part of their faith journey. May they continue to grow in their faith. If you or someone you know needs to complete their initiation sacraments please give me a call @ 989-835-6777 ext. 263 so we can get you on the path to making it happen. We have many events going for adults through the end of June so be sure and check out the bulletin and keep reading!

We are hosting guest speaker Demetrius Titus on Thursday May 4 @ 6:30pm. His talk is on Confronting Mass Incarceration in America. As Catholics we stand for the sanctity of every human life including those who are in prison. This speaker is sponsored by Blessed Sacrament's Social Justice Awareness Team. Confronting Mass Incarceration

Please take a look at Blessed Sacrament's Faith in Action Team. It is an outreach group working in our local communities. What they do is for all ages! It is a great opportunity for an individual, a couple or a family to get involved. Spend time with God in nature while praying with your senses on May 8 at 10 am and 6:30 pm you are invited to join Lyn at the nature center for prayer and a song before heading out to the trails to spend time with God in this unique way. Please RSVP to lynp@blessed-midland.org or by visiting the website by May 5 to ensure there are enough prayer guides.

Blessed Sacrament Rummage Sale! It's time to clean out the garage and all of the closets! Drop off for donations is Sunday, June 4 from 1 to 4 pm, and Monday & Tuesday, June 5 & 6 from 9am to 5 pm. Proceeds go toward the Ladies of Blessed Sacrament donations to local charities.

Lifeclinic fundraiser event: Laugh for Life with Comedian Mike Williams on Thursday, May 4@6:30pm at the Horizons Conference Center. Doors open at 6pm, Dress is casual. Children 12 and older are welcome to attend with their parent. Complimentary heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. An opportunity to make a financial gift will be provided.
