At our Council meetings we work behind the scenes reviewing important matters and projects that affect our community of parishioners, our beautiful facilities, and grounds. Now that our prayers for a new Pastor have been answered, we anxiously await the arrival of Fr. Kilian McCaffrey on July 1 to present these issues, seek his input, and request his approval to proceed.   We ask for your prayers for the financial health and direction of our beloved Parish.

At our meeting this week, we also sadly said farewell and THANK YOU to Dan Mahoney.  After worshiping at Blessed Sacrament for 30 active years, serving on the Finance Council, Knights of Columbus, Men’s Club, Pastoral Council, and Choir, Dan Mahoney is moving to Florida the first week of May. We congratulate and thank Dan for his dedicated and steadfast work on the Finance Council, and as President for many years.  Under Dan’s leadership, the Finance Council has been shaped into an efficient, effective group of financial professionals, legal experts, business leaders and consultants who are passionate in this ministry. As Dan leaves Arizona and relocates to Florida, Fr. Kilian will need to appoint a new member to fill Dan’s vacancy.  We wish Dan many blessings and success in his new venture.
