We have had many requests from those interested in discerning or with an interest in joining our community to have an introductory presentation describing the life and requirements to be a member of the City of the Lord. Please mark your calendar and invite those who have expressed an interest in learning more about our community to attend! Note: Due to services being provided, this event is open to those invited to present and newcomers and their hosts interested in learning about COTL Only

Martin Bautista (Josh Bautista's brother)
Josh Bautista's brother, Martin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this week. Please pray for Martin's wife Jaime, and the Bautista family. Funeral arrangements to follow. Through the Mercy of God may Martin rest in peace.
Virginia and Ed Douglas (Pam Looker and Eileen Spenla's mom and Dad)
Ed and Virginia have been in and out of the hospital over the last week and are very weak. Ed took a hard fall on Saturday and needed about 20 stitches and still cannot walk well or care for Ginny. They need round-the-clock care now. Please pray for them and the family

Jossie Diaz Passing:
Please pray for Dean Diaz and the Diaz family. Dean Diaz's wife Jossie Diaz passed away last Saturday. The Diaz' were long-time members of the Northern California Branch of COTL. She passed away surrounded by family after a short battle with stomach cancer. Through the Mercy of God may Jossie rest in peace.

Our own Jojo Concepcion is the leader of the Catholic Charismatic renewal in the Diocese of Phoenix. We have been working with Jojo and Bishop Nevares to plan a Diocese-wide Charismatic renewal event for Pentecost Eve, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at St Francis Parish in Phoenix. This will be a wonderful day of Praise and Worship, Mass with Bishop Nevares, and speakers such as Fr Charlie Goraieb, Fr Frankie Cicero, Fr Greg Menegay, Fr Parks, and others. The goal is to unify all the various groups in the Diocese and to celebrate the Power of the Holy Spirit together!
Note: COTL will not be having our own separate Pentecost celebration this year but will be fully supporting this event as a community.
