Generosity Lives!
Another recent and significant contribution of both food and financial donations for "Those in Need," via the Foothills Food Bank!
During the weekend of May 6-7, you gave 3,178 pounds of varied food items, plus cash and check donations. This total includes the Annunciation School Food Drive, which contributed 20 full crates (see students pic below)....A team effort!
A portion of the contributions to our local Foothills Food Bank are in turn distributed to affiliate non-profit organizations in Black Canyon City, New River, and Anthem. Poverty is everywhere.
Additionally, a special THANK YOU to the many volunteers (SVdP, Knights, & Vinnies) who made the activity a success!
