This dangerous bill, AB 315, would allow anyone to sue a prolife pregnancy center that does not offer abortion for “false or misleading advertising” about abortion that is undefined. Good news – the bill has been placed in the suspense file (for now) which is a quiet way to kill a bill that could make its supporters look bad during an election campaign. But it won’t necessarily stay there, and the legislative session goes through August. That’s why it is important we keep making our voices known! Pregnancy centers in California provide $14.2 million in free services for hundreds of thousands of the most vulnerable California families. Mary’s Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55) is a profound prayer that demonstrates her deep love for her people and her hopes that God would deliver Israel. The Magnificat also reveals that Mary is the model of the exact attitudes and virtues which Israel needed to live its mission in God’s plan of salvation. The Church, in consecrating the United States to the Immaculate Conception, offers Mary as a model of the attitudes and virtues which American Catholics also need to live as faithful citizens today.
In this series of talks, Dr. Salzmann discusses the “theological core” that has shaped America since the Puritans first arrived and through the many changes to American culture that have followed. He suggests that a thoughtful plan for evangelization must consider how this “theological core” has changed over time and how it might be shaped in the future. By reviewing six key themes from the Church’s doctrine about Mary (her divine motherhood, virginity, sinlessness, bodily assumption, co-redemption, and co-mediation) he proposes a “Marian subjectivity”—a Marian way of thinking, feeling, and acting—to help Americans live our national consecration to the Immaculate Heart and to transform culture in America.

2. Visitors may donate non-perishable food items for the St. Padre Pio Foundation. These items will be given to local community members in need.
3. Some additional notes:
a) There will be a table for visitors to write intentions and donate in St. Padre Pio Foundation envelopes.
b) There will be 2 lines from the main entrance. There will be disabled access only from the side door from the parking lot.
c) There will be a table of Padre Pio items for purchase. Volunteers will be selling the goods.
d) There will be fellowship in the hall–coffee, snacks–throughout the day.
