Humanae Vitae at 50: Celebrating the Gift of Life
On July 25, 1968 Pope Paul VI promulgated his prophetic encyclical letter Humanae vitae, courageously reaffirming the Church's constant teaching about the joyful duty of married couples to collaborate freely and responsibly with God the Creator in the creation of new human life.
The Diocese of Madison is celebrating the 50th anniversary of this important document with a special event on Saturday, July 21, 2018, featuring guest speaker Prof. Janet Smith, one of the world's leading experts on Humanae vitae and related topics.
Where: St. Maria Goretti Parish, Madison.
When: Saturday, July 21, 2018. The event begins with Mass at 7:00pm, followed by Dr. Smith's talk and some light refreshments.

Young Adult Summer Monday Night Sports League - You Can Still Sign Up!
Monday evenings this summer (June 4 - August 20), young adult parish teams are joining in community at Holy Name Heights playing various sports such as football, soccer, softball and more! Times and schedule can be found at this link.

Pregnancy Helpline needs Delivery Volunteer
The Safe Sleep program of Pregnancy Helpline continues to grow! With the number of deliveries increasing each year, we are looking for more help getting the pack-n-plays to the families. A delivery volunteer brings each family a new pack-n-play and safe sleep bundle. These volunteers make face-to-face contact with the clients, represent Pregnancy Helpline in a personal way, and make a real difference to each of the families. Volunteer hours could be anywhere from 2-10 hours per month (decided by the volunteer); delivery times are coordinated between the volunteer and the client.
