St. Louis Black History Bus Tour
Fr. Gerry Kleba will lead a bus tour of St. Louis black history sites on Saturday, June 3. Parishioners will carpool from downtown Kirkwood around 9:15 and return around 1:30 p.m. The bus tour will start from St. Cronan Parish. The tour is 9:45 to 1 p.m., with an optional brown bag lunch and discussion afterward. Cost is $7 per person. There are only 25 seats on the bus and we will soon open up to other parishes.

Just Faith Coming This Fall
St. Peter will be offering the first series of “Just Faith” classes again this fall. Day time and evening sessions will be offered. Presented through the lens of Christian tradition, study race and privilege in our world today and discern practical steps for working for racial justice. More details and sign-ups will be available in August.
Parent Discussion Group
On June 20 at 7 p.m., the parent discussion group will be reading and discussing “The Last Children of Mill Creek.” The author, Vivian Gibson, grew up in Mill Creek Valley, a segregated working-class neighborhood that was razed in 1959 to build a highway and is now the location of the CityPark Soccer Stadium.
