THIS WEEKEND:
+ This Sunday, we gather to celebrate the Ascension of the Lord. In the opening verses of the Acts of the Apostles, Saint Luke describes how Jesus ascended to the Father, having first entrusted his Apostles with the task of spreading the Gospel throughout the whole world. In the second reading from Ephesians, Paul prays that all who hear his words might experience the wisdom and power of the ascended Christ. In the Gospel, Matthew recalls the ascension of Jesus and his promise to be with us to the end of the age.
+ Second Collection this weekend will be directed to the Catholic Communications Campaign while the Social Actions Pillars will be shared with the Grassroots Crisis Center.
+ Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (MD LAOH) Howard County Division is sponsoring a “baby shower” this weekend at all Masses benefiting the Columbia Pregnancy Center. at Masses. New and gently used infant and toddler clothing (especially boys), baby care items, diapers (premie, sizes 2 and above), teethers, Enfamil blue top formula, strollers, port-a-cribs, toys are needed to support the Center.
+ 590 Baby Bottles have been distributed at Mass to date in support of the Columbia Pregnancy Center campaign for 2023. We will collect your spare change filled bottles this weekend. Read the story of Karla who benefitted from the services of CPC. You have four ways to contribute:
