Come Holy Spirit!
The Easter Season comes to a close with the celebration of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and empowered them to be witnesses of the Gospel to the ends of the earth. That same Holy Spirit dwells within us through our Baptism and Confirmation. Pray the prayer below for a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our lives.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.

In honor of the Holy Spirit, the liturgical vestments and linens for this feast are red. We invite you to wear red to Mass this weekend to celebrate the great gift of the Holy Spirit to the Church.
