We have a lot going on this Memorial Day weekend! Today, Friday, May 26 is the first drop off time for our Parish Rummage Sale. Please bring your donations to the Activity Center between 5:30 - 6:30 this evening. We will be here to accept your donations again on Tuesday, May 30 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
If you have not signed up to help with the sale, please do so. Many hands make light work!
Volunteers will be able to shop on Wednesday, June 7 before the public gets in!
This weekend is Pentecost - the 50th day of Easter, and is venerated as the birthday of the Catholic Church. The 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, May 27 will be a little longer than usual. Much like the Easter Vigil, the Pentecost Vigil contains additional readings from Sacred Scripture. We are inviting everyone that can, to wear white attire to Mass this weekend and take part in the ancient custom Whitsunday – literally “White Sunday," another name for Pentecost. Come Holy Spirit, Come!
Monday is Memorial Day. Please join us for a special Mass on Monday, May 29th at 9 a.m. in the Historic Chapel of Forest Lawn Cemetery. Because of security concerns, the only entrance to Forest Lawn Cemetery this year is by way of Mormon Bridge Road. Once inside the cemetery, follow the signs for the Historic Chapel.
