Frightening Friday
(Panic Point)Ever dream of eating a picnic dinner at night in the cemetery? Of course you have! Realize your dream during Frightening Friday, our annual trip to Wake Forest cemetery to pray for the dead. Participants will:
- Enjoy dinner at the cemetery!
- Pray for the dead by name! (Work of Mercy!)
- Earn 2 Service Hours!
- Travel to Panic Point for scares and thrills!
Cost: $27
Deadline to Register: October 21st
Participants Must Bring:
- St. Catherine's Permission Slip
- Panic Point Waiver
- Flashlight
- Blanket for the Picnic
- Comfortable Clothing (Sneakers, No Costumes)
WE MEET IN THE PARISH OFFICE
Wood Cut
Each year, we hold monthly Wood Cuts from October-March. These days of service provide the fuel needed to heat the homes of the most vulnerable during the winter. Your help keeps a family warm. Your help keeps children from the cold.
Participants share a free lunch (normally pizza) and earn seven service hours for staying the whole day.
Youth Participants Need:
- A Permission Slip (Online)
- Work Gloves
- Clothing Appropriate for the Weather
