Marriage Preparation
Are you engaged to be married? If so, participation in a marriage preparation program is expected. You can register for these classes at: adw.org/living-the-faith/marriage-family/ marriage-preparation/ Sessions at St. Elizabeth’s are held in January and July.
Children’s Liturgy Of The Word
Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered during the summer at 10:30am mass.
All children ages 5-10 are welcome to join. During these Masses, there will be no sound in the Commons. Worshippers are asked to move into the church.

Christian Formation Early Registration is Now Open
It’s that time of year… Our early registration for Christian Formation is now open for new families. Contact the parish office (office@stelizabethchurchmd.org) to learn more about the program and how you can register your children entering Pre-K through 8th grade, today! Early registration closes on Monday, June 19th.
Could you be called?
We are starting to prepare for next year’s Christian Formation program and with a growing program, we are in need of more catechists and assistants to work with our students of all ages (from Pre-K through middle school and Confirmation). Might God be calling you to share of your time and talents to serve as a catechist, assistant or aid? In-person classes take place ~2 Sundays a month, from mid-September through early May!

Faith in Film June 16
On Friday, June 16, Faith through Film will show
Belfast (2021), a semi-autobiographical film about the director Kenneth Branagh's childhood during The Troubles in Belfast. The movie is 98 minutes long, is in English, and is rated PG-13. After the movie there will be a 30-minute discussion. Please join us beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Commons, and if you’re willing and able, please bring snacks to share! All are welcome! Donut Sunday Has Gone on Vacation
Donut Sunday will be taking a break and will return on Sunday, September 10th.
Transitional Diaconate Ordination
The Transitional Diaconate Ordination will take place on Saturday, June 10 at 10 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC. 14 seminarians will be ordained by Cardinal Gregory. God-willing, the seminarians ordained to the diaconate this year will be ordained to the priesthood in 2024.
Separated and Divorced SSG Meeting June 7th
St. Elizabeth's Separated and Divorced Spiritual Support Group will meet via Zoom at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm on June 7th. We offer a safe, Catholic community where members can discuss the challenges of separation and divorce and the steps to rebuilding their lives. Some of our members are newly separated or divorced, while others have completed the divorce recovery process. Members share only what they are comfortable sharing and all discussions are treated as confidential. We welcome members of all ages. St. Elizabeth's Outreach to SOME Saturday,
June 10
Our Monthly support for SOME will take place on June 10. We will provide snack bag food which SOME can insert in the lunch bags they are giving to clients during renovations. SOME's priorities are fruit cups, juice boxes, mints, cookies, brownies, oatmeal pies, cheese crackers, rice krispy treats, chips, and 8oz bottles of water. We can either pack our food donations into individual one gallon Ziploc bags or provide the snacks for SOME to assemble. Donations will be collected between 8:30 and 9:30 in front of the school .
