In The name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
With this simple act – we profess the highest and holiest mystery about God, the blessed Trinity, while confessing what Jesus Christ did on Calvary for our salvation.
We perform this sacred prayer when we enter the Church and at the beginning and end of every Mass, acknowledging our holy space and God’s presence.
Sometimes, we do it when we think we are in trouble or need divine help.
We acknowledge that through our Baptism, we are adopted as God’s children, the divine family of Christ, a part of the Church. This is our identity.
The Trinity is the Highest Mystery – telling us what God has done.
Creation, redemption, sanctification.
The Trinity Essentially identifies who God is in himself, from all eternity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
This is the Chief Mystery of our Faith.
