Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish is seeking a part-time Bilingual Assistant Formation Coordinator to join their Formation Team. This is a part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week. Responsibilities include assisting with Spanish Adult, Children and Family Formation, Confirmation and Youth Ministry (more details listed below).

Job Responsibilities:

*Recruit and assist with training of all Spanish/Bilingual Speaking volunteers for Formation and Youth Ministry programs

*Translate for Formation & Youth Ministry meetings, practices, retreats and events *Help coordinate Children’s Liturgy of the Word for 1:00 PM Spanish Mass

*Assist on Sunday mornings (8:30 AM-2:30 PM), Sunday evenings (6:00 PM-9:00 PM), & Wednesday evenings (2:00 PM-8:30 PM)

*Attend weekly Formation Team meetings *Other hours and responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements: Bilingual (fluent in both English and Spanish)

Public Speaking

Basic Computer Skills (Google Drive, Microsoft Office)

Job Description: Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary is looking to hire a certified Elementary Spanish teacher for grades PreK – grade 5 for the 2023-24 school year. This teacher is responsible to plan, organize, and implement an engaging, and relevant curriculum in accordance with Diocesan guidelines. This teacher must also follow all duties and responsibilities as outlined by the mission of Mary Queen School and the Diocese of Lexington. Job Requirements: Proper certification from an accredited college or university for an Elementary Spanish teacher issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Must be willing to translate and help to build a stronger community connection with the Spanish speaking families in Mary Queen parish. Technological innovation and integration in a classroom setting using chromebooks is desirable.
