It's been an exciting summer at St. Joseph Catholic Church. We welcomed our new Pastor, Fr. Steve Sauser and are keeping Msgr. John McCaffrey with the title of Pastor Emeritus.

Volunteers are needed!
E.I.M. Workshops Attention Volunteers and Ministries:
The Catholic Diocese of Austin has established additional policies on Ethics and Integrity in Ministry compliance. In addition to those already required (clergy, parish and Catholic school employees, religious education volunteers, youth ministry, Boy and Girl Scout Leaders and child care providers), now all volunteers in parish/school ministries and organizations must be compliant. These include: Parish Leadership Councils (Pastoral and Finance), Adult Liturgical Ministers (Choir Members, Lectors, Ushers, Communion Ministers and Sacristans), Knights of Columbus Members and Women’s Guild.
To be compliant, one submits an EIM Application for Ministry on the
Diocese of Austin Website (Quick Links EApp) one time only and attends an EIM Workshop every three years. Thank you for your cooperation. Please call the church office at 822-2721 with questions.
Our next EIM Workshops will be:
Thursday, August 9 from 10:00 a.m. - noon or
Tuesday, August 21 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
in the Parish Activity Center
Faith Formation (Religious Education) Registration:
Registration will be held after all weekend Masses August 11 and 12. It is important that all our young people (4 years to 12th grade) are part of our Religious Education or Youth Ministry program. Any student who is not attending St. Joseph School, must be registered and attend Religious Education Classes in order to receive the sacraments. A
registration form is available on the church website. Registration will also be held after all Masses August 11 and 12. Please register early. If you register the day class starts, your child will not be admitted to class until the following week.
To volunteer or for more information, contact Lisa Storemski at the R.E. Office:

Enjoy the rest of your summer! Please call the Church Office if you have any questions!
