SABBATH MORNING WORSHIP
9:00 a.m. & 11:45 a.m. WORSHIP -
IN PERSON and ONLINE -
YouTube - Pastor Steve McHan
Did David have a bad week? Psalm 69:3 in Today’s English Version reads, "I am worn out from calling for help, and my throat is aching. I have strained my eyes, looking for your help.” Did David have a good week? He continues in verse 30, "I will praise God with a song; I will proclaim his greatness by giving him thanks.” This Sabbath we are reminded that wherever we find ourselves on life’s continuum, we can end the day with praise.
We are blessed that Albert Ayawaila and the DADS praise team will lead our
worship.
Dive into God’s word with Pastor Steve McHan as he continues our Psalms of the Summer series with Psalm 69: Squeezing Praise Out of Pain. We love seeing you here!

This year the Azure Hills Church is taking a major step towards energy independence for our campus. In January the Church Board authorized a 30 year energy purchase agreement through Renewable Energy Partners to install a combined 145 kwh dc solar generation system on the roof of Fellowship Hall and Azure Hills Children’s Center. This solar grid will provide our campus with clean solar energy at a guaranteed fixed cost per kwh. The solar equipment is being installed this summer with completion estimated by the end of August. The Turn Power On (TPO) date is still to be determined by SoCal Edison later this year.
By taking this action, Azure Hills received a $200,000 solar rebate in April, which we used for the installation of the new SPF roof on the Fellowship Hall. The new SPF cool roof system has the highest R factor rating for energy efficiency in the industry; combined with the low fixed cost of solar power, it is estimated we should reduce the annual cost of utilities on campus in excess of $16,000. In the future, after the sixth year of the energy purchase agreement, the church could consider a buy-out agreement which would increase our annual utility savings and provide full ownership of the solar generation system on campus.
The Azure Hills campus is the tenth facility in the Southeastern California Conference which has installed a solar energy system provided by Renewable Energy Partners. We are excited about the opportunity that solar power will provide in managing our energy cost.
