Classes began Thursday with Mass followed by the blessing of each room in the school. The eighth grade boys received an extra dose of holy water just because!

RCIA Classes Forming
Do you have a friend or family member that may be interested in learning about the Catholic faith and possibly joining the Catholic church? CTK will have an inquiry class on August 30th at 7:00pm in Charity Hall. This class is also for those who are baptized Catholic but never received Confirmation or Eucharist. Weekly classes will begin on September 20th and will meet Thursday evenings at 7:00pm. If you are interested, please call the parish office at 943-4353 in the day or Robyn Winter in the evening at 204-0701 to register.
PSR Class Registration
If you have a student attending public schools this year in grades K - 8, please contact the parish office at 943-4353 this week to register them for PSR.
Classes will begin September 30.

Welcome Committee
Welcome Committee Meeting Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the Faith Room in Charity Hall. We are reconvening after a little hiatus with exciting new ideas. Current members and anyone interested in joining the committee are welcome to attend. The mission of the CTK Welcome Committee is to welcome visiting, prospective, new, and established parishioners to our parish family. Members of this committee provide a warm welcome to all who attend our church, whether as a visiting guest, looking for a new parish to join, returning to the Catholic faith, interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, or new and established members of our parish family. Building the Domestic Church Booklets
The entire parish can now take advantage of the BUILDING THE DOMESTIC CHURCH kiosk which is now located in the main entrance of of the church. These booklets are being provided by Knights of Columbus council 16700, and are FREE for the Parish to use in Building the Domestic Church, which is the Family.
Remember Knights - there is a monthly meeting Wednesday, August 22. There are several opportunities coming up to help with the council. You are important to the life of the council, it cannot exist with out you and your involvement. Please plan to attend.

St. Monica is a very powerful intercessor for all those to go to her for help.She was the mother of St. Augustine who is a Doctor of the Church and a highly revered Saint, philosopher and theologian. St. Monica prayed for her wayward son and pagan husband fervently throughout her life.
After 17 years of prayer, St. Augustine converted and eventually became the great Saint we know him as today.
The novena begins on August 18th.
