SABBATH MORNING WORSHIP
9:00 a.m. & 11:45 a.m. WORSHIP -
IN PERSON and ONLINE -
YouTube - Pastor Tara VinCross
There are times when it’s easy to see tracks of God’s goodness and other times we fight to hang on in the turmoil in life. The truth of living is that it’s not always easy to see where and how God is at work in our lives. The Psalmist invites us to hear an intimate and heartfelt song, arising from their pain. This psalm provides an answer for what to do when the weight of despair presses down on us.
We are invited to catch a glimpse of the unseen footprints of God in the Psalm, as well as our own lives.
This week, at our 9am and 11:45am worship services, Pastor Tara VinCross will preach the next sermon titled, “Footprints” in the series Keep a Song in Your Heart: the Psalms of Summer. You’re invited to join in worship, as we open the Word of God together.
This Sabbath we will enjoy worship music led by Kerri Mc Comb and Team, with special music by the gospel choir.
During First Service, we will dedicate our Indonesian Sabbath School team (Global Outreach Fellowship) for the mission trip in Toraja, Indonesia.
We will celebrate the baptisms of Junior, Naomi and Ruthie Thomas, and Jadiel Lever during second service.
For both services, we will offer a prayer of dedication and appreciation for our teachers.
Your presence matters! We’d love to have you there.

Church Family
The funeral service for Elder Benjamin (Benny) Garcia will be on Saturday, September 9 at 5 pm in the sanctuary. Please continue to keep his wife, Rachel, and their family in your prayers.
Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Hillary, One Life has been cancelled this weekend. The youth pastors will explore the option of hosting a future event.
This past Sunday, SECC Youth held One Life Training for 50+ student leaders in our Elias Community Center in preparation for the Conference.
BLOOM is a young women’s ministry that was started at Azure Hills in the winter of 2022. This ministry was created to provide a safe space for the young women of our church to come together with female mentors to talk about topics like friendship, being a female, mental health, our identity in Christ, our values, spiritual gifts, etc.
This past Friday, Elder Jenn Maxwell led a discussion on the power of our influence on the people around us. We also reviewed some texts on what the Bible says not only about our influence on others, but the value of making sure that we are constantly surrounded by positive influences.
It was beautiful to see the young women being outspoken about how being a good influence is important and the struggles that come with it.
The next BLOOM vespers is on September 29. There is also a BLOOM pool party scheduled for August 27! Text Elder Jenn at (702) 378-3060 for more details and to RSVP.
