The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is this Thursday, Sept 14th. Mass will be at 6pm. (No 9am Mass).
Holy Hour and Adoration is this Friday, Sept 15th at 5pm.
There will be TWO Vigil Masses this Saturday, Sept 16th. One will be at 4pm at Holy Cross and a second will be at 5:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall during the picnic.
The Holy Cross Men's Retreat is Saturday, Sept 23. To learn more about it and sign up, go to "Faith Formation."
Faith Formation starts this Sunday @ 9:30am. We will open in the Sanctuary with a blessing from Fr. Sal. Parents are asked to attend this opening time with their children.

pilgrimage focused on the source and summit of our faith, the Eucharist. Saturday, October 21st All day
Pilgrims will be invited to talks, tours, Eucharistic Procession, Adoration, music, and Mass with Bishop Knestout, all surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the largest Catholic Church in North America. The Eucharistic focus of this pilgrimage supports the ongoing, nationwide Eucharistic Revival. This pilgrimage will offer resources in multiple languages.
We will charter a bus or take the Holy Cross bus and carpool depending upon the number of Holy Cross Pilgrims. Please sign up HERE to reserve your spot.

Do you know someone who is searching for more in their life? Perhaps a friend or family member who was raised in a different faith (or none at all) has questions about the Catholic Church. Or you may know someone who was baptized into the Catholic Church as an infant, but not raised Catholic, who is ready to learn more.
Now is the time to invite them to explore the journey of faith more fully!
Through weekly meetings on “Becoming Catholic,” we will explore the Catholic faith through a year-round, open-ended process that allows participants to proceed at their own pace while discussing what it means to follow Jesus in the heart of His Church. All are welcome! See below for more details.

Hello…God is calling all men
To a great day of fellowship at our one day men’s retreat.
Saturday September 23rd
8:00am to 3:30pm in the commons.
Coffee and goodies from 8am to 8:30am.
Lunch provided.
The theme is - Prayer and Education.
Some of the topics are “Why we sin”, “The science of miracles”,
“Mysteries of the Church”, “How we got the Bible” and of course a talk on the
“Eucharistic Revival” - by Fr. Sal.
Please let us know you are coming so we have ample food.

Holy Cross provides volunteers for Daily Bread the 4th Satuday of each month from 9:30am -12:30pm. Duties include prepping and serving hot lunch meals to those in need. No training required!!

are at 4pm and 10pm on Christmas Eve and 10am on Christmas Day.
2021 Jesse Tree Ministry
Elves Delivered! This past week Jesse Tree gifts, food, and even stockings for the younger children, were distributed to 77 households in our area. Families came from our parish community, as well as those referred to us by Interfaith Outreach Association, Lynchburg Social Services, Miriam’s House and McGurk House.
Thanks: Many thanks to all those who made the 2021 Jesse Tree Ministry a success!
We will resume distributing the monthly bags in the Commons the first weekend in February.
