Grab some coffee and join fellow parishioners after each Mass this weekend in viewing a brief but moving video on the Eucharistic celebration of Mass. We will meet in the Commons and share our reflections. All are welcome!

Pilgrims will be invited to talks, tours, Eucharistic Procession, Adoration, music, and Mass with Bishop Knestout, all surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the largest Catholic Church in North America. The Eucharistic focus of this pilgrimage supports the ongoing, nationwide Eucharistic Revival. This pilgrimage will offer resources in multiple languages.

Faith Formation
The Instrumentum Laboris (Working Instrument) will form the basis for the discernment and discussion for the participants of the first session of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops to be held in October 2023 in the Vatican.
This document comes after the first two stages of the 2021-2024 Synod, the first consisting of local listening sessions held across the world followed by discernment from local bishops’ conferences; and a second stage where continental groupings of episcopal conferences conducted discussion and reflection that concluded with the production of seven continental reports that were submitted to the Holy See in March of 2023.

2021 Jesse Tree Ministry
Elves Delivered! This past week Jesse Tree gifts, food, and even stockings for the younger children, were distributed to 77 households in our area. Families came from our parish community, as well as those referred to us by Interfaith Outreach Association, Lynchburg Social Services, Miriam’s House and McGurk House.
Thanks: Many thanks to all those who made the 2021 Jesse Tree Ministry a success!
We will resume distributing the monthly bags in the Commons the first weekend in February.
