Our current series, Lost & Found, was going to be a short one, with a length of two weeks as the original plan. However, as the Lord has opened up this chapter to me (Luke 15), it has turned into four!
This week, we will begin the parable of the Lost Son, also known as the Prodigal Son. But we will only look at the younger son this week. Next week, as we finish, we’ll focus on the elder son in this well-known story.
Come into his presence with expectation this week!

Leadership by the Book, a men’s six-week Bible study begins this week, Sunday night at 6:00. If you are planning on coming and have not signed up yet, please personally contact me. You can still come, but there are materials prepared, and we want to make sure we have them for you!
Eileen’s class on nutrition and weight loss (Honoring God with Your Body) will also begin at the same time. Her class will be held at Lawanda’s house at 5226 Willowwood Court.

All-church bike ride! On September 23 (two weeks from this Sunday) we will be leaving from the church, through Shoaff Park to Johnny Appleseed Park.
Bring your own lunch! Kelly Rowland will carry the lunches for us in her child carrier.

We need a volunteer to drive a young lady to Auburn to meet with her public defender at 12:30 on Wednesday. We have been reaching out to her, and this would really bless her if someone could provide a ride.
Please contact me if you are willing and able.
***Congratulations to Bob Harris and Donna Bolinger who are getting married later today!

Please keep praying about finding a youth leader for our church.
