FALL CALENDAR
MEAL TEAM MINISTRY
We are looking for parents to be on our Meal Team Ministry. Here, parents will get to serve the Lord by preparing meals for our youth nights. Parents that serve on the meal team ministry make great friends, learn from each others, and will learn of things that are going on at school, church, etc. from other parents. It does not take much time and it is a great way to help.

YOUTH SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are excited to announce that we are painting and adding new flooring to the youth ministry portables!!! We need our high school youth's help painting the rooms! If your youth would like to volunteer, please rsvp below by clicking "yes".

REVIVE
for 6th-12th grade
Revive is an annual event provided by Ablaze Ministries for 6th-12th grade students. It is a day filled with fun activities, dynamic speakers, and powerful worship. We believe that Revive is a great way to kick of the year as we allow the Holy Spirit to set a fire in our youth and reflect on our theme: Your Love Defends Me. Becka Landry, the middle school youth minister at St. Anthony’s, will be hosting Revive 2018. This event will feature speakers Ali Hoffman and Johnny Philp and musician Dave Moore. If you would like to register with St. Joseph's, you can register:
- as an individual online at revivebcs.org ($30),
- by turning in the registration form to a youth minister or at the parish office ($25),
- or at the door ($40).
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
FOR 6TH-12TH GRADE STUDENTS
If you have a student in 6th-12th grade who is in need of Baptism and/or First Communion, please attend our Sacramental Prep Parent Meeting at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, September 19 to learn more about our Rite of Christian Initiation Program for Children. We'll be meeting in the portables located near the bus drop-off area at the St. Joseph Secondary Campus. Email Debra Borski at Debra@ablazeyouth.org for more information or if you have any questions.

This Week (SUNDAY 9/16): Next Youth Night!
Ignite nights are safe and fun places for 6th-8th grade youth to grow in their faith. This semester, we will be looking into the covenants, the promises that God has made with His people, and how He continues to keep these promises today. We meet on Sunday nights after the 5:30 Mass and end at 8:30 pm. We meet at the St. Joseph's Secondary Campus Gym, which is in the back lot behind Christ the Good Shepherd Chapel. We start the youth nights with dinner and social time, and then enter into games, talks, skits, small group, and other activities. Please join us. We would love to have you!
JOURNEY
