The Korean Martyrs (9/20)
Did you know that the Church in Korea was started by lay people, with no priest, no sacraments, for many years? This shows the power of holy companions to keep the Faith alive in the midst of the trials of the world. Among the 98 martyrs of Korea celebrated today, 92 were laypeople:47 women and 45 men. Only 6 were priests.
