Suffice to say, there’s no other parish quite like ours: Each one of us, with our variety of gifts, helps to make our parish what it is. Yet our mission is the same as that entrusted by Jesus to the apostles: To form disciples who joyfully live out the mission of Jesus Christ. How we approach this mission uniquely in our parish will require faith-filled prayer, thoughtful conversation, collaboration, and strategic thinking over the next several months.
Consider this: Where is it that we want to go as a parish? What’s your dream for our parish? If anything were possible, what would it look and feel like? What do you hope for your children from our parish? Or for your parents? What do you hope for yourselves from our parish? Consider taking time to write down some of your responses to these important questions because in the coming weeks and months, we’ll be seeking your input as we develop an effective plan for the future of Saint Mary Parish.
