Dear Parishioners,
Tomorrow is the big day! The Invernal Equinox - the first day of Autumn. Autumn is an important season for our Parish.
As Ordinary Time draws to a close, we will bless the unborn, say farewell to the faithfully departed, Anoint the sick, celebrate Masses for our REP families, and even bless our pets.
There will also be dancing, dinners, coffees, basketball, Bingo, books, a concert, community, and lights.
In short, there will be something for each and every single Parishioner - each and every single one of you!
If it has been a while... the Blessed Mother is still here waiting to welcome you in Her warm embrace, and so is your ICC family.

St. Michael the Archangel
The last few weeks have been difficult for the Church. As our Bishops and Cardinals continue the arduous task of addressing the past, and preparing for the future, our Cardinal has asked us to pray to St. Michael the Archangel to defend us against evil and to give us the strength to fight it where we see it.
The Feast of St. Michael is Saturday, September 29. Join me in praying a novena to him for the next nine days. Today is the 21st, the first day of the novena. Please start today.
Prayer to St. Michael
Feast Day - September 29St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

The benefit for Puerto Rico is happening right here at home next Friday, at 7PM in the gym, and all proceeds go to the amazing work of TEENS4PR (read more about them - click here.
Come hear some success stories, and see photos of the work taking place, as you eat, dance and be feliz. There will be a DJ, salsa dancers and lessons, performances by local teens, a raffle, and more. Tickets can be purchased at the Rectory or online here.
On a final note, at almost 93 years of age my father is beginning to have some difficulty getting around. If any of you have a scooter for a senior that you are no longer using and would like to sell, please contact me. It may be just what my father needs.
