Dear parents,
To pull off this fun puzzle game, escape rooms/quests, for Halloween we’ll need to put our heads together decoration wise. I already started crafting for the Sinai Desert theme. Though, still have a lot of Cacti to make and etc.
I would love if the time travel themed room could have real decorations. I’m slowly coming up with some ideas for props to make the room interesting and hide clues under.
Props that would be great for the escape rooms/quests:
Books hollowed out to hid stuff in,
dated appliances/furniture (like an old radio),
Items that look old fashioned (but may be knock off/new),
Joke items meant to hide stuff,
Anything that could have a secret compartment,
Items we need to craft props for the rooms:
Washable Paint (washable because kids are messy),
Cardboard,
Maybe wood craft items,
Paper towel rolls/toilet paper cardboard rolls,
Plastic bottles (so we can make pretend jet packs for the secret agent room),
Construction paper,
(Basically art supplies so we can turn the classrooms in the PLC into a very different room. A different time period and etc.)
Please contact me if you have any items that may go with any of the themes, and want to donate them or let us borrow them.
Oh, and these rooms don’t plan on being scary. (The mummy room will have cute mummy toliet paper rolls with googly eyes.) The goal is to play the puzzle that goes along with the story. To make the game fun, it’ll be great if we have great decorations and props for the room. I’ll need a lot of help to pull this off, so if you think you could assist me with this project, especially the planning of the room displays, please shoot me a quick email so we can meet up and chat!
By God’s grace,
Ashley Brown
