Hello, Everyone!
Fall is a fun time of year, isn't it?
This group of explorers had a great time looking for Fall . We took a stroll around the school grounds...in no time our bags were filled with "all kinds of stuff"!
Leaves, small branches, acorns...
Back in our classroom our finds had to be investigated. And they still are being checked out in the sand table! A corn stalk & several ears of corn were added to the finds. Gourds & pumpkins are helping bring Fall into our classroom as well! Thank you to everyone who has shared & contributed so far!
Our senses will be challenged as children continue to investigate Fall Finds:
What does a dry leaf sound like? Can you smell it?
How does a corn stalk feel?
Children had a great time choosing Fall colors & stampin' up with leaves. Just look at the pictures in the hallway!
Jolisa read a great Fall story to us . She made us act like leaves as we moved to music. What fun! We just had to sing our Fall song to her. This little group is sounding pretty good!
Thank you so much for all the yummy snacks provided this week.
Fund Raiser packets were sent home on Friday!
You have until Thursday, October 11th to give neighbors, friends & family members the opportunity to buy some tasty food items. The funds raised will help St. James School fund several projects to enhance learning! Thank you!
Mrs. Mac & I are looking forward to more fun in learning with your child!
